Why We Built This Site

Arizona publishes phone information across many separate offices. AZ Direct covers state agencies and employees. Each county runs its own staff directory, with Maricopa County's being the deepest. Cities like Phoenix publish main lines and even downloadable phone books. School districts and the universities keep searchable directories of their own, and the state library lists every public library branch. Public-safety lines split between 911, 988, 211, and the statewide crisis hotlines. Add the utility contact lists and the NANPA, FCC, and Corporation Commission references for the state's five area codes, and the picture gets crowded fast.
